Section Leader

We’re recruiting for a Section Leader to join a successful food manufacturing operation in the North West. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Team Leader, Supervisor or Section Leader looking to take ownership of a busy production area and lead a team to deliver safety, quality and performance targets.

You’ll be responsible for driving standards, supporting your team and ensuring production runs smoothly throughout the shift.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and motivating a production team.
• Ensuring Health & Safety standards are followed at all times.
• Driving quality and food safety standards.
• Delegating tasks and managing workloads.
• Monitoring production performance and KPIs.
• Supporting and developing team members.
• Identifying and solving operational issues.
• Reducing waste and improving efficiency.
• Managing shift handovers.
• Planning holidays and ensuring adequate shift cover.
• Working closely with other departments.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or Section Leader role.
• Manufacturing, production or FMCG experience.
• Strong people management skills.
• Good communication and organisation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience improving performance and driving standards.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to leadership.
