We’re recruiting for a Section Leader to join a successful food manufacturing operation in the North West. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Team Leader, Supervisor or Section Leader looking to take ownership of a busy production area and lead a team to deliver safety, quality and performance targets.
You’ll be responsible for driving standards, supporting your team and ensuring production runs smoothly throughout the shift.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and motivating a production team.
- Ensuring Health & Safety standards are followed at all times.
- Driving quality and food safety standards.
- Delegating tasks and managing workloads.
- Monitoring production performance and KPIs.
- Supporting and developing team members.
- Identifying and solving operational issues.
- Reducing waste and improving efficiency.
- Managing shift handovers.
- Planning holidays and ensuring adequate shift cover.
- Working closely with other departments.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or Section Leader role.
- Manufacturing, production or FMCG experience.
- Strong people management skills.
- Good communication and organisation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience improving performance and driving standards.
- A proactive and hands-on approach to leadership.
