Are you an experienced Production Manager, Shift Manager or Section Manager looking for your next challenge?

We’re recruiting for a well-established UK food manufacturer with a strong reputation for investing in its people and producing high-quality products for major supermarket retailers.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take responsibility for a large production area, leading a team of around 60 people and overseeing multiple production lines to ensure safety, quality and performance targets are achieved.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and motivating a large production team.
  • Making sure production starts on time and runs smoothly.
  • Managing staffing levels and organising cover where needed.
  • Driving productivity, quality and health & safety standards.
  • Working closely with Engineering, Technical, Planning and HR.
  • Monitoring KPIs and resolving production issues quickly.
  • Coaching, developing and supporting your team.
  • Carrying out 1-2-1s, performance reviews and return-to-work meetings.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience leading teams within food manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Strong people management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing production performance and KPIs.
  • Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • A proactive leader who enjoys developing people and improving processes.
