Are you an experienced manufacturing supervisor who knows how to lead a team, keep production running and deliver results?
We’re recruiting a Operations Supervisor for a busy food manufacturing business. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee production teams, maintain high standards and help ensure daily targets are met.
You’ll work closely with the Shift Manager to keep operations running smoothly, support your team and deal with any production issues that arise. The role also includes production reporting, staff records and payroll administration, so you’ll need to be organised and comfortable using computers.
What you’ll be doing:

Lead and supervise production teams across multiple lines.

Keep production running safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Monitor output and work towards daily production targets.

Maintain food safety, hygiene, quality and health and safety standards.

Train, coach and support team members.

Manage attendance and address performance issues.

Record production figures, labour hours and payroll information.

Update spreadsheets and production systems accurately.

Work with management to improve performance and reduce problems.
What we’re looking for:

Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in manufacturing.

Experience managing people and supporting production targets.

A good understanding of health and safety, quality and hygiene.

Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Confidence using computers, spreadsheets and production records.

The ability to balance hands-on leadership with administration.

Flexibility to work a permanent night shift on a four-on, four-off pattern.

£38,000 annual salary.

Permanent night shifts, 6pm-6am.

4 on, 4 off working pattern.
