Henderson Brown is delighted to be partnering with an FMCG business to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer. This role is key to ensuring the continued performance and reliability of production equipment while supporting daily operational demands.
Maintenance Engineer
Salary – Up to £47,000
Shift Pattern – Sunday to Thursday 9am to 6pm
Location – Lincolnshire
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the wider Engineering and Operations teams to deliver effective maintenance support across production lines.
- Carry out inspections and conduct breakdown response activities to minimise equipment downtime.
- Manage and contribute to a preventative maintenance strategy, ensuring timely servicing of machinery and minimal disruption to output.
- Identify and recommend technical improvements and safety upgrades to enhance equipment performance.
- Log and report any equipment faults or repair requirements, maintaining optimal functionality across the site.
- Organise and prioritise maintenance tasks efficiently to avoid delays and ensure smooth production flow.
Requirements:
- A recognised qualification in Engineering or related technical field.
- Experience in a similar role such as (multi skilled engineer, shift engineer, electrical maintenance engineer, engineering technician, maintenance technician)
- Practical experience in a similar engineering or maintenance role within a production or manufacturing setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
