Maintenance Engineer

We are proud to be recruiting for a well-renowned FMCG Manufacturer for a Maintenance Engineer to provide electrical and mechanical support for the site.

Maintenance Engineer

Location – Sunderland

Salary – up to £53k per annum

Shift Pattern – Alternating Shifts (Candidates must be flexible to work both alternations):

• 3-Shift Rotation:
• 7:00am – 3:00pm
• 3:00pm – 11:00pm
• 11:00pm – 7:00am
• 2-Shift (Days & Nights):
• 7:00am – 7:00pm
• 7:00pm – 7:00am

Responsibilities:

• Repair various manufacturing equipment used for the production of FMCG products
• Carry out PPM’s and Reactive maintenance
• Attending to machinery breakdowns
• Fault finding equipment – electrical and mechanical machinery

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role such as (multi skilled maintenance engineer, shift engineer, shift technician, engineering technician, maintenance technician, or electrical maintenance engineer).
• Possess formal Engineering qualifications, such as an Level 3/NVQ/BTEC in Engineering
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Experience of using CMMS or EAM systems.
• Proven experience in driving through continuous improvement activities.
