Engineering Manager

We are working with an FMCG Manufacturer with their recruitment for an Engineering Manager to lead the onsite engineering team. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll inspire and elevate the engineering team, drive continuous upskilling, and keep operations running smoothly to increase and retain reliability.

Engineering Manager

Location – Lincolnshire

Salary – Up to £90k plus car allowance, plus bonus

Responsibilities:

• Lead all engineering and site services operations, ensuring safe, compliant and reliable performance within a manufacturing environment.
• Shape and deliver the site engineering strategy, driving asset reliability, performance improvement and operational efficiency.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programmes and continuous improvement initiatives to minimise downtime and enhance productivity.
• Manage engineering budgets and capital expenditure, leading investment projects from concept through to delivery.
• Provide technical leadership to support food safety, HACCP compliance and cross-functional operational objectives.
• Develop and inspire a high-performing engineering team, embedding strong safety culture, succession planning and capability growth.

Requirements:

• Significant leadership experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated experience managing departmental budgets and delivering cost-effective operational performance.
• Experience delivering capital projects and infrastructure upgrades within an operational production environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership level.
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage, coach and motivate teams at all levels of the organisation.
