Digital Marketing Coordinator
We’re recruiting for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join an established and growing FMCG business based in Worcestershire. This is a varied role offering the opportunity to take ownership of the company’s digital presence while supporting wider marketing and brand activity.
The Role
As Digital Marketing Coordinator, you’ll take day-to-day ownership of the company website and help develop its digital presence across SEO, AEO, email marketing and performance reporting.
Your responsibilities will include:
– Managing and developing the company website, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and up to date.
– Creating and updating WordPress pages, news articles and landing pages.
– Managing ongoing SEO activity and identifying opportunities to improve organic search performance.
– Developing the company’s approach to AEO and AI search visibility.
– Monitoring website performance through Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
– Planning, creating and delivering customer email campaigns and newsletters through Mailchimp.
– Supporting social media activity across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant channels.
– Writing engaging copy for websites, social media, newsletters, campaigns and wider marketing materials.
– Supporting digital campaigns, product launches, brand activity, presentations and company communications.
– Coordinating with external agencies, designers, printers and other suppliers.
– Producing monthly reporting across website, SEO, email and social activity, using insights to recommend improvements.
About You
We’re looking for someone with previous experience in digital marketing or a broader marketing role, who is proactive, commercially minded and comfortable taking ownership.
You’ll ideally have:
– Hands on experience managing and updating websites using WordPress or another CMS.
– Good working knowledge of SEO and digital content optimisation.
– Strong copywriting and written communication skills.
– Experience using Mailchimp or a similar email marketing platform.
– Confidence working with analytics and campaign data to understand performance and identify opportunities.
– Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
– The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
– A proactive approach, with the confidence to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small marketing team.
– Experience within FMCG, food, fresh produce, agriculture, wholesale or another B2B environment would also be beneficial.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential for occasional site, supplier and event visits.
